For safety reasons, it is unfortunately not possible to bring your own strollers or prams into the exhibitions, and they must therefore be parked outside in the museum's yard. As an alternative, the museum has small umbrella strollers you can borrow.

No kind of strollers or prams can be used in the Palm House.

Help us take good care of the Botanical Garden, the special atmosphere and the collection of rare plants from all over the world by following the garden's rules of conduct:

  • The beds must not be stepped on, and it is not permitted to climb the trees

  • Flowers, seeds and other plant parts may not be collected.

  • Dogs and other pets are not allowed. Guide dogs are welcome.

  • Bicycles and scooters may not be brought.

  • The use of barbecues and open flames is not permitted.

  • For exercise runs, ball games, etc. we refer to the city's other parks and squares.

As a private person, you are welcome to take photographs in the Botanical Garden and the greenhouses.

However, wedding photography in the greenhouses is not possible due to the botanical collection and passage for other guests.

In the Botanical Garden itself, wedding photography is allowed, provided you:

  • Only use the images for private use
  • Do not bring large professional equipment (tripod, multiple cameras, light reflection screen, etc.)
  • Respect the privacy of other guests and do not block the paths
  • Do not use a drone to photograph

For commercial photo and video shoots (e.g. fashion shoots, fashion blogs, product images, music videos and promotional films): See more here

The paths in the Botanical Garden are being renovated over the next few years. The next phase of the project runs from 22 April and lasts until November 2024. During these months, the paths by the main entrance, the shop and the Palm House will be periodically blocked.

See the current map of the garden.
